I met Pat McGrath in September 2004 when he visited our office in connection with the USA Study Tour. Pat was working to get some FCCI groups started in Latin America. Since I had lived in Peru, Argentina and Brazil as a missionary kid, we spent some time that Fall afternoon talking about South America.
