We have found Global evidence that when Christ transforms a business leader on a personal dimension, He will eventually transform his or her leadership. Given time to implement Biblical values and governance, a company’s leadership can be transformed. Transformed leaders can yield transformed companies. Peer review, support, counsel, prayer & fellowship accelerate this process and follow Jesus’ example–the building blocks for FCCI Business Leadership Groups.

Toward that end, the equipping and encouraging tools on this web site will soon be joined by other consolidated resources, best practices, training and group content in an easy to use and implement format.

In the United States, FCCI groups operate either under the banner of FCCI or under the U.S. banner, Christ@Work. The Christ@Work brand positions FCCI within the broader workplace ministry movement by highlighting our calling to equip and encourage Business Owners, CEOs, as well as Business Leaders. This permits an entry point for future owner/CEOs or Next Generation Leaders.

Council of Business Advisors(CBA) – this facilitator-led program involves groups of eight to twelve meeting monthly for four to six hours. The agenda has the same foundation as that of a BLG, but the extended time allows deeper involvement in each others businesses, as well as in the resources that FCCI and the group facilitator bring to the table. In addition to the group session, the facilitator provides coaching for each group member throughout the month. All of which helps members lead their businesses for Christ by giving them practical, hands-on advice on how to shape their organization, and set it up for long-term success.

Our History

In 1896, Charles M. Sheldon’s book, “In His Steps,” was first published. As its story unfolded, readers found themselves witnessing the impact on the lives of the book’s primary characters as they accepted the challenge to ask “What would Jesus do?” before making any decisions or taking any action…in every area of their lives. Their aim was to walk as closely as possible in the steps of Christ regardless of the immediate consequences. Almost eighty years after that challenge was first posed on those pages, Robert L. “Bobby” Mitchell, a young Atlanta businessman, received a copy of In His Steps as a Christmas gift from his mother.
